The Storm Clouds Gather

Time ticks by slowly inevitably moving closer and closer to the time of death. As clouds build up in the sky, first on the horizon then encroaching ever closer and closer, until all of the heavens are blotted out behind their threatening dark masses, waiting to open up and flood the earth below. Until everything that is and everything that was is washed away and all the is left is nothingness.

I find this feeling slowly fraying away at the edges of the tapestry that is my life of busy fullness. It seems to be ever increasing with the quite times, or the times where my mind gets to wounder bringing a bitter sweet edge to the moments of unadulterated joy that crop up during the day. It is a feeling that while insidious in it's nature is somehow also comforting, not because it is a fun feeling but because it is a familiar feeling one that I have know many times over, for very long times. It is like some kind of macabre comfort that despite the knowledge of what it forewarns, that of a period of darkness descending on my life and smothering it filling it in with all that is utterly miserable, the only question being how fare will it sink and for how long will it drag out. Yet somehow there seems to be a strange comfort with this all to unwelcome yet all to well know guest.

Maybe I am just broken to find a level of comfort in this state of being I knowing what it singles, and lord know that I would not be shocked to find out that I am fundamental broken, honestly to the contrary almost surprised to find out that I was not broken. I know that I have to let my psychiatrist know about this, but how do I explain that in some sort of way it is almost welcome, even though I know that I don't want what it harbors in those creeping clouds? What dose it mean that I feel this way about something that forewarns of something that has rained utter disrepair on my life in the past and that has been responsible to hart brake and emotional turmoil to those around me that I hold dearest? I honestly don't know.

  1. Please, PLEASE head back to your doctor. You need to be re-evaluated, you might need a change of meds. But you really need to talk to someone, and soon!

I count you as a good friend, and dont want to lose you. Please hang on, life will get better, but you have to wait out this bleak period. I've been there, I know of what I speak. One breath at a time, one step, one minute/hour/day at a time.

    hugs and whatnot

The Temptation Of The High

While being balanced mode wise is something that is good and something that I am glad to be, although I do wish that my medications made me feel less drained like I have been dragging a heavy weight around with me while I do things, in part because my mind seems to be sort of slow and just not totally with it at times leaving it to take a lot of energy to concentrate and get things done and that mental energy also has a physical manifestation as well, and is what tends to make me feel the most drained. while it is good to be balanced it is hard to not want to have a taste of the forbidden fruit that I have been brought down from having a minor taste of and that is to be on the more manic side of things.  It is times like this when I know that the meds are keeping me from an amazing natural high, that it is so tempting just to stop taking my medications.

Word Verification.

As some of you will soon start noticing I have started to use word verification in order for comments to be posted, unfortunately I had a spat of spam comments occur and I don't want to have to waist my time removing spam comments. So to help and combat the problem I have been forced to intorduce word verification into the commenting procsses.  I hope that doing so dose not discurage you guys (my readers) from posting your comments as I truly do value getting to hear your prospectives on things and talk with all of you. Untill next time dear readers.

It's Past Time To Boycott Motts, And Spread the word.

Some of you may not know this but the workers at Mott's factory in Williamson NY (their only factory) have been forced out on strike, after the company walked away from the bargaining table when the workers refused to accept a new contract that cut wages buy $1.50 an hour while downgrading the medical plan increasing employee medical cost as well as slashing their pension and 401K plans.  Even thought the company recently acquired by Dr. Pepper Snapple, made a profit of $555 million last year as well as increase in stock value of 35%!  To add further insult to injury over the time of "economic hardship" that company is using to justify the wage, pension, 401K cuts and increase in worker health care cost, those in charge of the company proceeded to double their salaries!
